Facing the Giants!
It was last Tuesday , when it happened the unexpected situations from my workplace , from good to worst scenario .I wasn’t in the office that time and doing some field work , when I heard it , I felt terrible to think about it why ? Why it happen? What things to do next? What words to say and how to explain? My mind stops thinking, looking forward for the worst case .Boooom! Before the sun’s come down, I’ve received a text messages from my cousin a word of encouragement , thanks to her . I return to our office to see if it’s true…. It happen! Packing up my things, and when out. My feet lead me to the nearest Chapel in Ayala seeking for His guidance and deliverance.
In the next day evening, I attended a Catholic gathering at night, a prayer meeting to feel His presence and comfort. It strike me, when I heard the teacher of the Word said the title of his talk is Facing the Giants! It talks about kind of giants that we facing in our daily lives….. Base in the word of 1 Samuel 17:20 in the life of David when he meets Goliath a giant and warrior. The teacher of the word, emphasize the giants what we’re facing: Giant of Comfort, Giant of Fear, Giant of Criticism and Ridicule and the Giant of Self. That talk was meant for me, I’m relieved but still there’s a fear in my mind until I face the Giants. Praying is the best way I can do on that night, keeping His words in Romans 8:28 “that all things will work unto good. “
The following day, my concern friend discuss it to our Team Leader regards on that matter, it intervened by our Boss, after the dialogued it outcomes with good feedback. Thank God! I’m comforted in the silent way but my spirit is rejoicing. Gaudete!
Are you facing the Giants now? Face it and trust God our refuge and strength that He will deliver you from all circumstances.
